Aromaterapia Organic Basil Essential Oil is traditionally used in aromatherapy for focus and clarity rituals. Its fresh herbal aroma is often selected for energizing daytime environments. Aromatic use may help create a mentally refreshing atmosphere during work or study. Highly concentrated and intended for diluted use only. A versatile oil for blending with citrus or herbal aromas. For skin use, basil essential oil can be beneficial because it has mild antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, but it must always be diluted in a carrier oil (such as jojoba, almond or our Virgin Coconut Oil). A safe dilution is usually about 0.5–1%(around 1–2 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil). Some people may find it too strong or irritating, so a small patch test is important before regular use. It can be used in massage blends or spot applications when diluted, but it is not ideal for very sensitive skin.

Typical use:
Diffuser use or diluted massage blends. Approx. 200–250 drops per 10ml.
For skin use, as it has natural antimicrobial and soothing properties that may help support clearer, calmer-looking skinny putting around 1–2 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil.
