Typical Use:
Turmeric can be added to cooking, teas, in our (Ceremonial) Cacao or our Roots Moon Milk beverage. For enhanced absorption, it is best consumed with black pepper and a source of fat. A typical daily amount ranges from ½ to 1 teaspoon.
Combines well with: blending with other comforting spices, like our Spice&Rub for savoury dish flavor and anti inflammatory enhancer. Which goes well with most of our Grains and Legumes and Pulses.
For optimal anti inflammatory use, boil for 35 minutes together with 4 black pepper grains for the proper absorption of the Turmeric its health benefits; add ginger root and vary with either garlic cloves, lemon, rosemary and sweeten with honey after cooled to below 60 degrees to maintain the health benefits of the honey.
